In a surprising crossover event that challenges usual forecasts, Ubisoft has announced an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Mission Uncovered

According to the official announcement, "An unusual encounter leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where rumors of prohibited rituals and terrifying transformations reverberate through the obscurity." The plot features a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a secret group.

The questline concentrates on "strange experiments and a fearsome adversary" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Transformations

The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer ends with a powerful moment showing a character, probably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Extra Material

Players who accomplish the quest will obtain an special katana alongside numerous objects secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
